After Saturday’s, last Typhoon Ski Team performance, Jerry Schoenith and
friends attended a charity party at Comerica Park. The affair was for the
Capuchin Soup Kitchen. The Ahee Family began this event 26 years ago at the
Roostertail. When John Ahee and Jerry planned the first get-together, it was for
500 guests. Because of John and the Ahee family’s hard work, it has become the
summer seasons most attended Downtown Detroit charitable social gathering.
